While many Kenyans have options to enable them stay safe in the wake of corona virus, those living in informal settlements have limited options. One of them is to wash hands regularly with soap and running water.

But since running water is a luxury in majority of the homes here, generous traders and community based organizations have provided an alternative to the locals. Along most roads in the informal settlements are these hand washing facilities.
