Ashoka East Africa will on Tuesday unveil new fellows. The induction ceremony to be held in Nairobi will showcase changemakers from across different sectors of the economy.
Vincent Odhiambo, Ashoka East Africa Regional Director said the new cohort will add to the more than 3,000 Ashoka fellows that currently exist around the world. “The induction ceremony of our new Ashoka Fellows promises to be a momentous occasion, celebrating exceptional men and women with innovative solutions for the world’s most pressing challenges,” said Odhiambo.
There are over 3,000 Ashoka Fellows around the world, drawn form conservation, agriculture, education, health, media, sports, sanitation, business, evergy, climate change, tourism, youth empowerment, disability inclusion and infrastructure sectors among others.
Ashoka Fellowship Induction Ceremony will be held on Tuesday March 19.
