Google for Startups Accelerator Africa is now accepting applications for its next cohort. This three-month hybrid accelerator program is designed to support Seed to Series A technology startups based in Africa that are building innovative solutions and are ready to scale.
As part of the Google for Startups Accelerator, selected founders outline the top technical challenges facing their startup and are then paired with relevant experts from Google’s network of Experts to help solve those challenges.
The accelerator will combine in-person bootcamps, virtual training, and deep mentorship to help startups tackle their top technical and business challenges.
Eligibility Criteria
- They are headquartered in Africa
- Are generating revenue, ideally at the Seed to Series A stage
- Demonstrate a scalable product with strong market potential and a defensible growth model
- Are deeply technical, preferably leveraging AI or machine learning
- Can commit participation from the CTO or key technical team members
Program Highlights
- Up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits
- 30 days of free Cloud TPU access for open-source machine learning research
- 1:1 mentorship from Google engineers and industry experts
- Deep dives on technical challenges, product design, customer acquisition, and leadership development
- Access to a global network of Google mentors and partners
