Light for the World, an international organization focused on disability rights and eye health, is hiring a Head of Global Communications.
The position is full-time and permanent, with a start date of 1 September 2025.
The role can be based in any of the following countries: Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, or Mozambique.
Contract terms:
The Head of Global Communications will lead the implementation of the organization’s 2030 Communications Strategy and report to senior leadership.
The position involves coordination across country offices, oversight of a global team, and active management of both strategic and operational communications functions.

The successful candidate will be expected to balance high-level planning with hands-on delivery, including direct involvement in campaign execution, stakeholder engagement, and external representation.
