Since June 11, the Serena Hotel in Kigali has hosted the 9th East Africa Philanthropy Conference, a convening of thought leaders, funders, practitioners, and community voices from across the continent.
Held under the theme “Agile Philanthropy: Adapting to Economic, Social, and Political Shifts,” the three-day gathering has provided an opportune space for critical dialogue, strategic collaboration, and bold action to shape the future of philanthropy in a rapidly evolving world.
As the conference culminates today, this pictorial offers a glimpse into the people and moments that have defined the event, from high-level panels to informal exchanges, capturing the spirit, diversity, and energy of a sector in motion.
