Nonprofit leaders working with children and youth have an opportunity to strengthen their leadership capacity and scale their organizations through the Gratitude Network Fellowship, a selective 13-month executive development program designed for high-potential social impact leaders.
Each year, Gratitude Network selects approximately 30 nonprofit leaders from a global pool of more than 1,000 applicants.
The Fellowship targets leaders whose organizations are at a critical stage of growth and who are seeking structured, long-term support to increase impact, strengthen internal systems, and build more sustainable institutions.
Modeled after top-tier executive education programs, the Fellowship combines individualized coaching, structured learning, and peer engagement.
This integrated approach supports leaders as they navigate organizational growth, resource constraints, team management, and long-term planning in increasingly complex operating environments.
What the Fellowship Offers
Fellows receive a comprehensive package of executive-level support valued at over $10,000.
Central to the program is one-on-one executive coaching, tailored to each Fellow’s leadership goals, organizational context, and growth ambitions.
This coaching helps leaders clarify strategic priorities, strengthen decision-making, and build confidence as they guide their organizations through change.
Participants also engage in a Scaling Up curriculum focused on organizational growth, leadership effectiveness, and impact expansion.
The curriculum emphasizes practical tools and frameworks that Fellows can immediately apply within their organizations.
Topics often include strategy refinement, team development, governance, sustainability, and measuring impact.
Peer Circles form another core component of the Fellowship. These small, facilitated groups bring Fellows together regularly for shared learning, accountability, and problem-solving.
Global Network and Additional Support
Beyond the structured program, Fellows become part of Gratitude Network’s lifelong alumni community, which includes more than 250 nonprofit leaders serving children and youth across over 120 countries.
This global network provides ongoing opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and peer support long after the Fellowship concludes.
Additional benefits include access to curated grant opportunities, exclusive leadership resources, and tailored learning tools aligned with each Fellow’s stage of growth.
Fellows are also invited to participate in an Annual Summit, which brings together current Fellows, alumni, coaches, and partners for in-person learning, reflection, and relationship-building.
Who Should Apply
The Fellowship is open to nonprofit leaders who demonstrate strong vision and leadership potential, lead organizations ready to scale, and are committed to improving outcomes for children and youth.
Applicants should be open to coaching, peer learning, and accountability, and willing to engage deeply in both personal leadership development and organizational growth.
The application process includes a two-part written application and a video submission, allowing candidates to articulate their leadership journey, organizational mission, and future goals.
More information on eligibility criteria, timelines, and application requirements is available through Gratitude Network’s official Fellowship channels.
