Applications are now open for theĀ Ford Philanthropy Fellowship 2026, a fully funded global programme targeting entrepreneurs and community leaders working to drive social change in their communities.
The fellowship, powered byĀ Watson InstituteĀ and backed byĀ Ford Motor Company, is designed to support early-stage changemakers looking to expand their impact through mentorship, training, and global collaboration.
This yearās programme will focus on key areas such as community development, education, economic empowerment, and disaster preparedness.
Selected fellows will take part in online learning sessions, weekly workshops on leadership and business strategy, and mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs and experts.
A major part of the fellowship is the āBasecampā initiative, where participants will organize local workshops in their communities to share knowledge and build practical solutions to social challenges.
The programme will run virtually from September 8, 2026, to January 21, 2027, allowing participants from different countries to take part without travel costs.
To qualify, applicants must be at least 18 years old and lead a venture that has been active for one to five years with measurable social impact.
They should also have a small team and some form of funding or revenue.
The priority deadline for applications is August 15, 2026, with rolling admissions remaining open until available slots are filled.
